Our aim is to create confident, curious horses that understand what we are asking and not just tolerate what we are making them do.
As a Native American husband and a European wife we really dove into cross training. We found a lot of value in studying opposite disciplines and created a method of our own that is a sweet combination of Western Performance Trainer, Clinton Anderson, Olympic Eventer and liberty enthusiast, Tik Maynard and Dutch liberty show woman Yvet Blokesch.
Our lesson program is for those who seek a long term plan. If you’re hoping to become an independent and self sufficient horseman it will take time, patience and love and we are here to guide you. We will dive into the horse psychology, learn how to observe and read your equine partner and how to build a fair, two-way communication street. These fundamental skills will help you find what motivates your and your horse and how to turn your relationship into a playful partnership.
Our core values come from Tik Maynards building blocks to a healthy relationship with your horse.
Observation
In order to communicate you have to be able to recognize the equine language. During the observation phase we teach you how to read your horse. Together we will discover where your horse feels confident and where he needs to build more and same for you!
Communication
When you feel confident in reading your horse we move on to communication. We will teach you how to use your own body language to match theirs. Body position, mental state and clarity are the main focus during this phase.
Motivation
We know what we get out of it when we ask a horse to do something.. but what do they get out of it? During the motivation phase we dive into relaxation, motivation and excitement to enhance the appeal for your horse to work with you.
Play
My favorite phase! This is where you and your horse really connect, confidently read each other and the liberty fun can begin! By this time the three previous phases are installed enough to become so what of a habit and that allows you to let go of it all. This is where we help you create your own style, your own exercises and we guide you and your horse to a fulfilling relationship that will stay the same in any situation, surrounding or scenario.
Lessons are offered with our horses or your own! You’ll learn everything about liberty horsemanship, riding is a big part of it but not the main focus.

Lessons at your own place $110 p.h.
