Happy Cows make tasty meat! At our Mini Ranch we treat every animal as a big part of the family. And that includes our beef cattle! We take great joy in watching them run, kick, buck and play when we come to feed them or simply hang out with them. We lay emphasis on stress free cattle and everything we do with them relates to this core value. Our cattle is moved by yodeling, and with our dogs if they are out of hearing range, we train our cattle to go through the corrals and relax in there while we give them some grain and brush them, so when it's time to load them up they feel like just another spa day.
Our cows are hand-selected and the meat is carefully processed to ensure the highest quality and taste. We exercise our cows to build muscle, give them free range of our large pastures and add a grain to finish them neatly in the last sixty days. Our grain supplier works closely with us to ensure the best nutrition for our herd and we have a long standing relationship with the family owned butcher shop.
Every fall we wean the calves from the Momma cows and raise them up to be strong, healthy and happy beef cattle. In December of the following year we take our first batch to be cut and wrapped for our customers. You can pick your package up at our Mini Ranch in Kamas or at the butcher shop in Payson. In February we drive the second trailer load to the butcher shop, this crop tends to be a little larger with more hanging weight because they are 2 months older than the first round.
When you pre-order you can customize the cut on your order. Each cow will be wrapped in quarters, so even when you buy a full beef you will have quarter 1 through 4, making it easy to split with family members. Next slaughter date is December 2025.

Our cows have not been exposed to harmful chemicals or irresponsible vaccinations. They are happy, healthy and how mother nature intended them.
Because we don't have a store front we only sell in bulk. Since we cut the middle man out, we can offer very competitive prices. Our packages include a variety of cuts from ground beef to rib eye steaks.
It is financially a better choice and our beef is of far higher quality than the super market.
